Dr. Zama Radebe is a registered Clinical Psychologist, who completed her Masters in Clinical
Psychology at University of Durban-Westville and also completed her PhD at Wits University.
She is also a candidate training to become an analyst. Zama has been practicing for over fifteen
years. She consults with a wide range including adults, teenagers, couples, parent-child
relationships and families. She also has an interest in group work and family therapy. Zama
works psychoanalytically. Zama sees therapy as a space where one can take an interest in
oneself and find a sense of direction and be able to live, work and play.

She started working in Fort Napier Hospital in KZN in 2002. She also worked at Charlotte
Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. She completed her PhD at Wits in 2014 looking at
the relationship between stressful life events, personality profiles, dissociative experiences,
attachment styles and types of crimes committed among the mentally ill offenders and criminal
offenders within the South African context.
